Bit locker security key not available
Sooo....
If you're a Microslop employee:
My condolences. I don't hate you personally, but holy shit this seems like a disaster:
Because If I'm currently and already experiencing this problem, many more will in a couple of months when the 2011 keys need to be exchanged with new ones.
I haven't updated my PC, but an automatic background update seems to have triggered the bit locker key interface.
I've never even heard of that feature before my screen randomly bluesceened me after boot up today.
And so I've followed the steps:
- Authenticator
- Profi.. ..... nvm it's Microslop going at it again, the key is not saved at the spot it's apparently meant to be saved at and a Windows update just fucked over not only my PC but also the data thats saved on my PC.
LIKE HOLY SHIT MICROSOFT.
If this key is such a big FUCKING deal, that not even you have access to it for security reasons (as in you can't help, even if you'd want to) maybe, just maybe you should make damn FUCKING sure that as soon as a new Microslop account is created that key is saved where it's supposed to be saved at.
Motherfuckers!
Welp I know which operating System I'll be using in the future:
Linux.
Planed/thought about switching for some time, but didn't have the motivation. It never seemed worth it to try and get used to Linux and it's "flavorful characteristics".
But I guess it doesn't force you to make an account, encrypt all your data and then tells you to eat shit and die
(Yes I know bit locker - in theory - is a good idea.)
Would have been awfully nice if Microsoft would have at least tried to make sure that all their users had the needed codes before releasing an update that made the data on the Pc they paid for need those codes to be able to access their PC.
....
Hey Microslop?
Who owns my PC, huh? Me or you?
