Wow, Is WPC11 Really 9 Days Away!

Happy Friday, everyone!

I can’t believe we’re just a little more than one week away from the main event!

WPC11 is quickly approaching, and I am looking forward to heading down to Los Angeles see all of you.

los_lobos[1]To date over 14,000 have registered to attend and that’s quite impressive.

I’m not surprised to see this, as we’ve got a rocking line up of main stage vision and value keynotes, breakout sessions, and (of course) special guests like Sir Richard Branson and Grammy Award winners Los Lobos.

If your schedule is looking like mine, it’s packed with lots of meetings, networking events (a/k/a parties), and plenty of sessions to attend. Well, in an effort to help out our great Exchange partners here’s another tip on three sessions you are going to want to have on your calendars for Tuesday, July 12:

  • 1:30-2:30pm in LACC-404AB
BP04: Dollars, Euros, or Yen: How Exchange brings you growth opportunities from on-premises to the cloud

    Julia White
  • 3:00-4:00pm in LACC-404AB
BP14 Exchange vs. Google and Zimbra – How to Beat the Competition
    Alym Rayani and Gary Danoys

  • 4:30-5:30pm in LACC-501A
BP22i - So You Want To Host Exchange?

    Michael van Dijken

In addition to this cheat sheet, be sure to check out my earlier post for more details on what we’ll be covering in these sessions.

And, if the slated topics aren’t enough to spark your attention, attend BP04 (Julia’s breakout session) and you’ll be entered for a chance to win an XBOX 360 console with Kinect and a flat screen TV (we’ll also give out XBOX 360 console with Kinect at BP14 and BP22i).

Yup, you read that correctly.

An XBOX 360 + Kinect +Flat Screen…talk about your partner value prop!

“But, Ian. What’s the deal with that contest where I might win a pass to the ‘THE PARTY’?” you might be asking right about now.

I really want to thank all of you for posting your “most excited to learn” tidbit on Facebook and Twitter for a chance to win a pass to “THE PARTY”.

Your responses we’re AWESOME, and you’ll be happy to know we’ve got great content lined up in our three main Exchange sessions that addresses those topics you cited you wanted to get the scoop on.

Here’s a quick update: we have selected 70 lucky recipients who will receive a pass to “THE PARTY” and they will be contacted by the end of this week.

Fret not, because there are still opportunities to get the golden ticket to one of this year’s hottest events. And, when I say “golden ticket”, I really mean you still have a chance to snag one of our 25 VIP passes during the week of the event!

Here’s how:

  1. On Monday, July 11th simply stop by the Kogi Truck between 11:30am - 1:30pm. Say “hello” to me or members of my team, grab some notoriously good tacos, chat with other partners, and pick an Exchange and Lync button. (NOTE: you can also stop by our Exchange and Lync demo kiosks at booth #136 in the Solution Innovation Center to pick up a button if you missed the taco line).
  2. Then wear this button in the Los Angeles Convention Center. Monday through Wednesday we are giving away VIP passes to 25 lucky partners spotted sporting this Exchange and Lync flair.

Awesome, right?

Stay tuned (as always) for more details and updates as we plan to blog away and (more importantly) we’ll be posting updates via Twitter through the #ExchangePartner hashtag.

Can’t wait to head on down to L.A., and I hope you all feel the same!
