We have been busy bundling together our recent acquisitions into a comprehensive "Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack". Eweek has a good review of this latest offering. It consists of the following products
Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack
The software maker is bundling four new software tools acquired from recent acquisitions:
* Microsoft SoftGrid, from Softricity
* Microsoft Asset Inventory Services, from AssetMetrix
* Microsoft Diagnostic and Recovery Toolset, from Winternals
* Microsoft Advanced Group Policy Management, from DesktopStandard
This bundle will be available as a single add-on subscription pack starting in the New Year. This will be available to customers with a Windows desktop Software Assurance contract
This pack looks really interesting, especially the Softricity product. I certainly recommend you take a look at these suite of products when they become available. They will certainly ease the pain of management and deployment under the umbrella of one "Optimized" deployment pack.
