導讀 - GUI config utility for server core

這一篇不知道是不是脫褲子放屁. 不過想一想 Linux 為了服務不熟悉指令操作的系統管理者, 也有相同類型的工具.

想當初 Windows Server 2008 有一個 Server Core 的選擇可供安裝, 以減少因為需要 GUI 介面所造成的資源耗損.

沒想到, 以色列人開發 GUI 介面給 Server Core 用. 真是佛心來的.

大家可以到這裡 download. 目前版本是 1.0.139.

這個基本的設定工具功能如下:

• 啟用產品 (Product Activation)
• 顯示與解析度設定 (Configuration of display resolution)
• 時間與時區設定 (Clock and time zone configuration)
• 遠端桌面設定 (Remote Desktop configuration)
• 本機帳號管理 (新建, 刪除, 群組成員, 密碼) (Management of local user accounts (creation, deletion, group membership, passwords))
• 防火牆設定 (Firewall configuration)
• WinRM configuration
• IP 設定 (IP configuration)
• 電腦名稱, 網域名稱 / 工作群組 成員設定(Computer name and domain/workgroup membership)
• 安裝 Server Core 功能與角色 (Installation of Server Core features/roles)

沒想到還有人要求要更多的功能...  阿彌陀佛...  以色列的朋友們, 加緊開發造福大家吧. 不知道是否會有繁體中文版, 哈哈...
