New releases: MOM to HP connector, and best practices for SMS maintenance

The MOM product connector for HP Network Node Manager has been released - you can find it here. With this connector MOM 2000 SP1 can forward alerts to HP's Network Node Manager product, which is a big win for harried system administrators who don't want to deal with two sets of reporting consoles.

The SMS team haven't been standing still either - they've just released "Scenarios and Procedures for SMS 2003: Maintenance, Backup and Recovery". This is a set of best practices and worksheets to simplify the lives of SMS administrators.

Hmmm. I guess these two announcements boil down to "Administrators! Administrators! Administrators!"
