Prerequisites

  • You need a Copilot for Service license.
  • The tenant admin should deploy the Copilot for Service extension (preview) app to users.
  • Connect to a CRM organization on the Copilot for Service Outlook add-in.

How to Get Credentials

  • Log in to Teams, click on the plugin flyout, and click "connect" for Copilot for Service extension (preview) - Power Platform Connector.
  • Grant user access to create a connection for the Copilot for Service extension (preview) connector.
  • Refresh to see the Copilot for Service extension (preview) - Power Platform Connector - {ConnectionId} plugin with a toggle option.

Get Started with Your Connector

  • Turn on the Copilot for Service extension (preview) - Power Platform Connector - {ConnectionId} plugin on Teams Copilot chat.
  • Query using natural language to get data from a CRM organization.

Known Issues and Limitations

Support for adaptive cards is a work in progress; include formatting details to get better results. Example: "Show me all active cases in a tabular format."

Creating a connection

The connector supports the following authentication types:
