Accepts a server authorization certificate and, if valid, activates the server for the features enabled by the supplied certificate.
public void CheckServerAuthorization (string authorizationCertificateChain, string authorizationCertificateKeypair);
member this.CheckServerAuthorization : string * string -> unit
Public Sub CheckServerAuthorization (authorizationCertificateChain As String, authorizationCertificateKeypair As String)
Parameters
- authorizationCertificateChain
- String
The base64-encoded PlayReady Server Deployment Authorization Certificate.
- authorizationCertificateKeypair
- String
The public and private key pair associated with the PlayReady Server Deployment Authorization Certificate.
Exceptions
Thrown if a different server authorization certificate or keypair is provided to the SDK than had been originally provided.
Remarks
When building a plug-in handler using the PlayReady protocol Web methods, there is no need to call this method as the IServerAuthorization interface exposed by the handler will be called instead to retrieve the server authorization certificate when it is needed. This function is necessary only when calling the server APIs outside the context of a PlayReady protocol request (e.g. content packaging).
