Ab dem .NET Framework 2.0 wird empfohlen, Instanzen mithilfe der XmlReader.Create -Methode zu erstellenXmlReader, um die neuen Funktionen zu nutzen.

Da keine XmlTextReader DTD-Informationen verfügbar sind, SignificantWhitespace werden Knoten nur innerhalb eines Bereichs xml:space='preserve' zurückgegeben.
