Diese Methode schreibt immer das vollständige Endtag. Dies ist nützlich beim Umgang mit Elementen, die ein vollständiges Endtag enthalten müssen. Browser erwarten beispielsweise, dass HTML-Skriptblöcke mit "</script>" geschlossen werden.
