Inventory registration (form)

Click Inventory management > Periodic > Transfer orders. In the lower pane, select a transfer order line. Click Inventory > Registration.
Use this form to register inventory receipts.
Note
If the Registration requirements check box is selected in the Item model groups form, an item receipt must be registered before the product receipt for the item is updated.
Create lines in the form
The Transactions pane displays the current receipt transactions. To register the full quantity, select the Auto-create check box. This generates a line in the Register now pane. When you click Post all, the Receipt status field in the Transactions pane displays a status of Registered.
To register a partial quantity, click Add in the Register now pane. In the Register now field, enter the number to register. Click Post all to register the receipt.

Create serial numbers |
Open the Create serial numbers form, where you can set up serial numbers for the item. Note The button is available only for items that are associated with a tracking dimension group where the Serial number dimension is active. If serial numbers have already been created for the item, this button is not available. |
Split |
Open the Split transaction form, where you can split the quantity of the receipt transaction. Tip The quantity of the selected line is reduced by the quantity that you specify in the Split transaction form, and a new line is created for the quantity that you specified. |
Intercompany |
This button is not available. Transfer orders are transactions in the same legal entity, and intercompany functionality is used only for transactions between different legal entities. |

Delete all |
Delete all transactions that are listed in the Register now pane. |

Reference |
The origin of the transaction. |
Number |
The number of the reference type that is specified in the Reference field. |
Ordered |
The number of items for the transaction that are registered for processing and shipping. |
Remainder |
The number of items for the transaction that are not yet registered. |
Receipt status |
The current status for receipt transactions. If this field is empty, the transaction is an issue transaction. |
Configuration |
The configuration that identifies the items. |
Site |
The site where you store the items. |
Warehouse |
The warehouse in which you store the items. |
Quantity |
The quantity, in inventory units, for the transaction. The quantity shows receipts or issues, depending on whether the quantity is incoming or outgoing. |
Auto-create |
Select this check box to register the full quantity of items for the transaction. |
Register now |
The quantity of items to register. |
