Get-SmbServerConfiguration

Retrieves the SMB server configuration.

Syntax

Description

The Get-SmbServerConfiguration cmdlet retrieves the Server Message Block (SMB) server configuration.

This command retrieves the SMB server configuration.

Note

The EncryptionCiphers parameter is available beginning with 2022-06 Cumulative Update for Microsoft server operating system version 21H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5014665), and Cumulative Update for Windows 11, version 22H2 (KB5014668).

-ThrottleLimit

Specifies the maximum number of concurrent operations that can be established to run the cmdlet. If this parameter is omitted or a value of 0 is entered, then Windows PowerShell calculates an optimum throttle limit for the cmdlet based on the number of CIM cmdlets that are running on the computer. The throttle limit applies only to the current cmdlet, not to the session or to the computer.
