Creates a new ExportEffectAttribute.
public ExportEffectAttribute (Type effectType, string uniqueName);
new Xamarin.Forms.ExportEffectAttribute : Type * string -> Xamarin.Forms.ExportEffectAttribute
Parameters
- effectType
- System.Type
The type of the marked Effect.
- uniqueName
- System.String
A unique name for the Effect.
Remarks
Developers must supply a uniqueName
that is unique over the scope of the value that was supplied to ResolutionGroupNameAttribute. The Resolve(String) method takes a string that is the concatenation of the the resolution group name that was provided to ResolutionGroupNameAttribute, '.
', and the name that was supplied to ExportEffectAttribute, and returns an effect that will have the type effectType
.
For example, with the declarations:
[assembly: ResolutionGroupName ("com.YourCompany")]
[assembly: ExportEffect (typeof (ShadowEffect), "ShadowEffect")]
Then the code below will add the effect to a button:
var button = new Button { Text = "I have a shadow" };
button.Effects.Add (Effect.Resolve ("com.YourCompany.ShadowEffect"));
