Component ist die Standardimplementierung von IComponent und dient als Basisklasse für alle Komponenten der Common Language Runtime.
Sie können Komponenten in einem Container kapseln. In diesem Kontext bezieht sich Kapselung auf die logische Unterordnung, nicht auf die visuelle Einbettung. Sie können Komponenten und Container in verschiedenen Szenarien mit sowohl visuellen als auch nicht visuellen Bestandteilen verwenden.
System.Windows.Forms.Control erbt von Component, der Standardimplementierung von IComponent.
Eine Komponente interagiert mit dem Container primär über eine vom Container bereitgestellte ISite, die ein Repository der containerspezifischen, für die einzelnen Komponenten verfügbaren Informationen darstellt.
Hinweise für Implementierer Damit eine Klasse als Komponente gilt, muss sie die IComponent-Schnittstelle implementieren und einen einfachen Konstruktor bereitstellen, für den kein Parameter oder nur ein Parameter vom Typ IContainer erforderlich ist.
