Strokes.Finalize Method
Frees the resources of the current Strokes object before it is reclaimed by the garbage collector.
Namespace: Microsoft.Ink
Assembly: Microsoft.Ink (in microsoft.ink.dll)
Syntax
'Declaration
Protected Overrides Sub Finalize
'Usage
Me.Finalize
~Strokes()
!Strokes ()
protected void finalize ()
protected override function Finalize ()
Not applicable.
Remarks
In C# and Managed C++, finalizers are expressed using destructor syntax.
Note
If a derived class overrides the Finalize method, it should call the Finalize method of the base class, ensuring proper release of the object's resources.
The Strokes object's Finalize method is automatically invoked during garbage collection, unless finalization by the garbage collector has been disabled by a call to the SuppressFinalize method. Thus, application code usually does not call this method.
This method overrides the Finalize method. Starting with the Microsoft .NET Framework software development kit (SDK), see the topics: Finalize Methods and Destructors, Cleaning Up Unmanaged Resources, and Overriding the Finalize Method for more information.
