Um Eigenschaftenwerte für Client-API-Eigenschaften abzurufen oder festzulegen, müssen Sie Accessormethoden für die Eigenschaften aufrufen, die mit dem Präfix get_ bzw. set_ benannt sind. Beispiel: Um einen Wert für eine Eigenschaft wie cancel abzurufen oder festzulegen, rufen Sie die get_cancel-Methode oder die set_cancel-Methode auf.

Hinweise
Das Error-Objekt in JavaScript macht mehrere Eigenschaften verfügbar, die den Fehler definieren. Die Microsoft AJAX Library stellt zusätzliche Funktionen für das Error-Objekt bereit.
Beispiel
In folgendem Beispiel wird dargestellt, wie zwei Eigenschaften der EndRequestEventArgs-Klasse verwendet werden. Ein Click-Ereignishandler für eine Schaltfläche in einem UpdatePanel-Steuerelement löst eine ArgumentException-Ausnahme aus, um eine unbehandelte Ausnahme zu simulieren. Im Clientskript prüft ein Handler für das endRequest-Ereignis der Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManager-Klasse den error-Eigenschaftenwert. Wenn es sich bei dem Fehler um eine unbehandelte Serverausnahme handelt, wird die errorHandled-Eigenschaft im Skript auf true festgelegt und eine Fehlermeldung angezeigt.
