When a synchronization job begins after you enable or disable end-user recovery, the following alert is displayed: Failed to update permissions used for end user recovery on the specified server. Permissions update failed for the following reason: DPM cannot browse the specified server because the host is unreachable. For more information, open DPM Administrator Console and select the Monitoring task area. |

You see the following error message when you try to configure end-user recovery: Active Directory could not be configured because the DPM computer with the specified name could not be found. |
