MonitoringConnector.AcknowledgeMonitoringAlerts Method (ICollection<ConnectorMonitoringAlert>)

The monitoring connector acknowledges that it has successfully received monitoring alerts from the Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.ConnectorFramework. The latest alert timestamp will be used.

Parameters
alerts
Type: System.Collections.Generic.ICollection<ConnectorMonitoringAlert>A collection of ConnectorMonitoringAlert objects. All the alerts prior to the alert with the maximum timestamp are acknowledged.
Remarks
The monitoring connector must acknowledge that alerts have been received. Failure to acknowledge an alert will result in subsequent calls to MonitoringConnector returning previously returned alerts. After acknowledging alerts, you get alerts that are updated after the bookmark time that you acknowledged with.
This method acknowledges all of the alerts by acknowledging with the timestamp of the latest alert in the collection.
