ScopeNodeBase.PropertyDataUpdated Method

Manages communication of update information to the correct nodes and corresponding node views. This method uses the PropertyDataUpdated delegate for update communication.

Parameters

  • sender
    [in] System.Object instance that indicates the sender of an event notifying that property data is updated.
  • refreshDataList
    [in] System.Collections.Generic.List object that represents PropertyDataUpdateItem objects for the data.

Return Value

true if node coordination is successful; otherwise false.

Remarks

This method is the entry point for all object update notifications. It is called when items are added, deleted, or updated, or when the console must perform a full refresh.

Note

The call to this method can be made on a non-user interface thread and should be marshaled to the user interface thread.

Thread Safety

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
