Der Textvorlagen-Transformationsprozess umfasst zwei Schritte. Im ersten Schritt erstellt das Textvorlagen-Transformationsmodul eine Klasse, die als generierte Transformationsklasse bezeichnet wird. Im zweiten Schritt kompiliert das Modul die generierte Transformationsklasse und kompiliert sie, um die Textausgabe zu generieren.

Direktivenprozessoren fügen der generierten Transformationsklasse Code hinzu. Sie rufen Direktiven von einer Textvorlage auf, und nachdem Sie eine Direktive aufgerufen haben, kann der Rest des Codes, den Sie in die Textvorlage schreiben, die von der Direktive bereitgestellte Funktionalität verwenden. Sie können eigene benutzerdefinierte Direktivenprozessoren schreiben, um benutzerdefinierte Funktionalität für Textvorlagen bereitzustellen.

Das Textvorlagen-Transformationsmodul enthält eine Singletoninstanz einer erforderlichen DirectiveProcessor-Klasse.
