IWMPLibrary::get_type method (wmp.h)
[The feature associated with this page, Windows Media Player SDK, is a legacy feature. It has been superseded by MediaPlayer. MediaPlayer has been optimized for Windows 10 and Windows 11. The get_type method retrieves a value that indicates the library type.
Syntax
HRESULT get_type(
[out] WMPLibraryType *pwmplt
);
Parameters
[out] pwmplt
Pointer to a variable that receives a value from the WMPLibraryType enumeration that indicates the library type.
Return value
The method returns an HRESULT. Possible values include, but are not limited to, those in the following table.
