uap:BackgroundTasks

Defines an app extensibility point of type windows.backgroundTasks. Background tasks run in a dedicated background host; that is, without a UI.

Remarks

Extensions of type "windows.backgroundTask" must specify either a StartPage or EntryPoint attribute in the Extension element.
