This function fills a caller-supplied buffer with the given character.

Syntax

VOID NdisFillMemory(
  PVOID Destination,
  ULONG Length,
  UCHAR Fill
);

Parameters

  • Destination
    [in] Points to the buffer to be filled.
  • Length
    [in] Specifies the number of bytes to be filled.
  • Fill
    [in] Specifies the value to fill the buffer.

Return Value

None.

Remarks

Callers of NdisFillMemory can be running at any IRQL, if the Destination buffer is resident. If the buffer is pageable, a caller must be running at IRQL < DISPATCH_LEVEL.
