When queried, the OID_DOT11_PERMANENT_ADDRESS object identifier (OID) requests that the miniport driver return the IEEE media access control (MAC) address encoded in the network adapter hardware.
The data type for this OID is the DOT11_MAC_ADDRESS structure.
