Überwachen einer Installation mithilfe von MsiSetExternalUIRecord

Paketautoren können interne Windows Installer-Meldungen überwachen, indem sie eine ausführbare Anwendung erstellen, die sowohl einen auf Eintrag basierenden Rückrufhandler zum Empfangen der Nachrichten als auch Funktionen zum Initiieren einer Installation enthält.

Der auf Eintrag basierende Handler im folgenden Beispiel entspricht dem Prototyp INSTALLUI_HANDLER_RECORD, und ein Zeiger auf diesen Rückrufhandler wird an die Funktion MsiSetExternalUIRecord übergeben.
