Permissions in subscription billing

This article takes a deeper look at the permission sets for subscription billing. To check the permissions in the permission sets, on the Permission Sets page, use the Permissions action. To learn more about permission sets, go to Assign permissions to users and groups.

Subscription billing

The following table describes the permission sets required for subscription billing.

Permission set	Description	What it's for
SUB. BILLING ALL	Subscription Billing All	Gives read-only access to subscription billing tables
SUB. BILLING ADMIN	Subscription Billing Admin	Gives administrators or power users access to create, modify and delete subscription package line templates and subscription packages, and customize setup.
SUB. BILLING BASIC	Subscription Billing Basic	Gives access to perform the basic day-to-day setup tasks in subscription billing.
SUB. BILLING USER	Subscription Billing User	This permission set is for all users working with subscription lines, subscriptions, and contracts. In addition, you can create billing proposals for contracts on the Recurring Billing page. However, this permission isn't intended for setting up, creating, and editing subscription line templates and subscription packages.
