This article provides a comprehensive guide for partners who want to understand, join, and actively participate in the Microsoft hosted Viva Engage communities dedicated to Dynamics 365 Business Central partners.
What is Viva Engage?
Viva Engage is Microsoft’s modern collaboration and community platform designed to connect people across organizations. The Viva Engage communities for Business Central partners enable you to:
- Engage directly with Microsoft product and engineering subject matter experts
- Provide feedback to Microsoft relevant to Business Central
- Ask questions and participate in technical and product discussions
- Stay informed through announcements, product updates, and best practices
Viva Engage replaces the former Dynamics 365 Business Central Partner Yammer communities and brings an enhanced, secure, Microsoft-hosted experience tailored for structured partner engagement, and rapid knowledge sharing.
Business Central Viva Engage group structure
The Business Central partner community within Viva Engage is divided into specialized groups so partners can join the conversations most relevant to their role and areas of expertise. You will be added to the following Viva Engage Community groups for Business Central partners:
- Microsoft Announcements
- Business Central Development
- Business Central Cloud Migration
- Business Central Governance, Administration, and Security
- Business Central Performance
- Business Central Application Functionality
- Business Central AI, Agents, and Copilot
- Business Central Integrations
- Business Central Localization
- Business Central Test Automation
Once added, if there are groups you don't want to continue to be member of, you can easily remove yourself.
