ILGenerator.MarkLabel(Label) Method

Definition

Marks the Microsoft intermediate language (MSIL) stream's current position with the given label.

public:
 virtual void MarkLabel(System::Reflection::Emit::Label loc);
public:
 abstract void MarkLabel(System::Reflection::Emit::Label loc);
public virtual void MarkLabel (System.Reflection.Emit.Label loc);
public abstract void MarkLabel (System.Reflection.Emit.Label loc);
abstract member MarkLabel : System.Reflection.Emit.Label -> unit
override this.MarkLabel : System.Reflection.Emit.Label -> unit
abstract member MarkLabel : System.Reflection.Emit.Label -> unit
Public Overridable Sub MarkLabel (loc As Label)
Public MustOverride Sub MarkLabel (loc As Label)

Parameters

loc
Label

The label for which to set an index.

Exceptions

loc represents an invalid index into the label array.

-or-

An index for loc has already been defined.

Examples

The code sample below demonstrates the contextual usage of MarkLabel to implement MSIL branching in a dynamic method.
