Set up your account and tour your Pear Deck Home

Sign in to Pear Deck

Head over to https://app.peardeck.com/home/ to set up your account. For this you’ll need a Microsoft Office 365 account. Pear Deck uses Microsoft 365 to authenticate sign in for both teachers and students. This means there's no additional password to remember for Pear Deck. Check out some of the other advantages to this integration:

  • All Pear Deck files are saved automatically in OneDrive
  • Students sign in with their Microsoft Office 365 accounts so you can see who joins your presentation sessions in real time.
  • Teachers can invite students to join their presentation sessions through Microsoft Teams. Look for more information on this in Module 9!

When you’re done, you’ll land in your Pear Deck Home.

Get comfortable in your new home

This will be your launchpad for any Pear Deck-powered activity. When you want to create a new presentation, look at past student responses, or check out some helpful resources, Home is where you’ll want to go. You can also view your recent files and a rotating list of resources like sample activities, video tutorials, and blog posts.

Manage your account and find support

To sign out or view your account details and settings, select on your profile picture in the upper right corner. From here you can see what kind of plan you're on, or you can go to your settings to enable or disable advanced features. If you get stuck, select the help tab at the top of your screen to find help articles and resources.
