INameSpaceTreeControlEvents::OnItemStateChanging method (shobjidl.h)

Called before the state of an item changes.

Syntax

  [in] IShellItem    *psi,
  [in] NSTCITEMSTATE nstcisMask,
  [in] NSTCITEMSTATE nstcisState
);

Parameters

[in] psi

Type: IShellItem*

A pointer to the Shell item for which the state is going to change.

[in] nstcisMask

Type: NSTCITEMSTATE

One or more values from the NSTCITEMSTATE enumeration that indicate which pieces of information the calling application wants to set.

[in] nstcisState

Type: NSTCITEMSTATE

One or more values from the NSTCITEMSTATE enumeration that indicate the values that are to be set.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
