Can you create a sql query to look up the data entered into a cell?

looking to create a formula that will look up every entry in a list that has the specific value which would be entered into cell A1

    Your description is ver vague and so the relation to SQL Server is not clear for me.

    If you are looking for a pure Excel solution, use VLOOKUP function
