Outlook can't connect to the server

One more question regarding Outlook, please:

Today I was unable to log on at all even after supplying the correct password (I asked about it here) for some reason Outlook could not have used neither https://...autodiscover nor AD scp point:

05-1

It has surprised me greatly as I have no issues connecting to the autodiscover.xml from this workstation using the same user credentials:
10

No problems with this user in OWA.

Q1: Can the problem with autodiscover lead to Outlook refusing password?

Q2: Why does Outlook say the autodiscover.xml is not available if it is available in a browser?

Seems to be the same problem as described in this post:

Thank you in advance,
Michael

    Hi @Mikhail Firsov ,

Q1: Can the problem with autodiscover lead to Outlook refusing password? Q2: Why does Outlook say the autodiscover.xml is not available if it is available in a browser?

For Q1, yes, it could be related.

Regarding Q2, it's weird... Could you unclear the checkboxes of “Use Guessmart” and “secure Guessmart authentication”, run "Test E-mail Autoconfiguration" again and post the output for further analysis?

Besides, it's recommended to try adding the following registries on the machine and see how it goes
(Important: Follow the steps in this section carefully. Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Before you modify it, back up the registry for restoration in case problems occur.)

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\AutoDiscover

    DisableAutodiscoverV2Service to 1
    ExcludeExplicitO365Endpoint to

"I recommend that you rebuild your Offline Outlook Data File and restart Microsoft Outlook, as the issue may be caused by corruption of the OST file. As you mentioned, OWA is working fine."
