Azure FrontDoor Premium support webapp slots

Can anyone please confirm why azure front door doesn't support adding Webapp with a particular deployment shots as orgin. Use case is to implement blue green deployment using azure webapp in front of azure front door.

You can select "Custom" for the Origin type. I have used it in my client's environment, and it worked.

I understand that you would like to know the feasibility of adding a deployment slot as the origin of Azure Front Door.

Currently, this is a design limitation.

You can request for this feature in Azure Feedback Hub. All the feedback shared in these forums are monitored and reviewed by the Microsoft engineering teams responsible for building Azure
