After installing Inventor, word macros show error messages, excel openings want to install something

I had to install Autodesk Inventor Professional 2021 on my laptop. Ever since when I want to open Excel, it wants to install something with Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2016. I have already went on with it, but nothing changed. It is really annoying that I have to wait 2-3 minutes to open an Excel. This also happens sometimes with Word, but it is faster to get out of it. However it often shows error messages about the macros. Today I wanted to wirte equations, and the keyboard shortcuts just kept failing, it is quite impossible to work in a normal peace like this. Help me, please.

I need more information about your issue.

Ever since when I want to open Excel, it wants to install something with Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2016.

1 Are you using Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2016?

• Please go to one Office app, such as Excel > Account > Product Information > About Excel, check the architecture (32 bit or 64 bit).
• If you are using 32 bit of Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2016, please check whether the document is helpful to you 'Office 2016 32bit doesn't operate correctly after installing Inventor 2021'.

2 Could you please take a screenshot about the message of the installation?

This also happens sometimes with Word, but it is faster to get out of it. However it often shows error messages about the macros.

Please also share us with the related screenshots of macro error messages for better analysis.

Currently, I suggest you try following steps:

• Runing Excel and Word in safe mode to have a check. You may hold on Ctrl key, click or double-click one Office app icon, until it asks that do you want to start it in safe mode, then please release Ctrl key and click "Yes".
• If Excel and Word can be opened normally, I would suggest you check the COM Add-ins and startup items.

Please go to File > Options > Add-ins > Manage COM Add-ins, click Go, clear the check boxes for any enabled COM add-ins, especially related to Autodesk, select OK.

For Excel, you may locate to following folders, temporarily move files and folders to other location.

C:\Users\<User Name>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\XLStart or C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\XLStart if you are using 32-bit.

For Word, you may locate to following folder, temporarily move files and folders to other location.

C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Word\STARTUP.

• If safe mode is not helpful, I suggest you uninstall Autodesk Inventor Professional 2021 to have a check. If conditions allow, try a different version of this 3rd-party software to avoid software conflicts with Office.
