I would like to know a way on how can we disable autoupdate popup in Azure Storage Explorer

Storage Explorer uses a settings file rather than the registry for application settings. Whilst there is a setting for auto updating the app, there isn't one for "Don't check/tell me". If you think this is a valuable feature for the team to include, then the best place to suggest it would be on the GitHub site https://github.com/microsoft/AzureStorageExplorer/issues

Open Azure Storage Explorer.

Go to settings.

Click "Open settings file".

The path of my file is: C:\Users\gordon\AppData\Roaming\StorageExplorer\settings.json

heyy! One more doubt what is the role of the application telemetry Id which is there in the settings file? it changes everytime we launch the application but when the second line (i.e - application.updates.autodownload: false) is there the application telemetry Id remains the same each time we launch the application
