Since the recent August update to the Remote Desktop app, it no longer works on our Chromebooks. We are able to connect to the server (Windows 2016), enter the user login credentials when prompted, but never get to the user's server desktop. The app goes back to its home screen with the "PC" icon used to connect. On the Windows server, it is showing that the user was logged in for about a second before a logout occurred, shown in the event log with an Event ID indicating it was not a user-initiated logoff.

I am aware of others reporting this same issue. Is it being investigated for possible resolution soon?

Since the update on 9/21 it now connects to Lenovo 500e chromebooks, but we need it to connect to Lenovo 100e Chromebooks. This is the same issue/scenario we experienced last fall when the app was updated. We are a school district and the 500e's are touchscreens relegated to K-2 students, all of our high school students use 100e's, that is how they accessed our Azure VDI last school year. Please update or roll back if possible!
