Hi All,

We installed SCOM 2022 UR1 and all were running as expected, until all of sudden, the daily and hourly performance & state aggregations are not happening. Events 31552 & 31553 keeps getting logged on all Management servers' event viewer. No errors related to performance or permission are noticed on Management Servers or SQL Server

The weird thing is that when we disable the rule "Standard Data Warehouse Data Set Maintenance Rule" and run the Stored Procedure (Exec StandardDataSetMaintenance) , the aggregation gets processed successfully and we can get the performance data back in reports/dashboards. But when we enable the rule back (which should be enabled by default), aggregation does not work.

Any ideas please on what to check?

Thanks,

Hey there! Looks like your SCOM 2022 isn't updating daily and hourly performance data (yikes!). Here's what's going on and how to fix it:

    The Problem:

    • Events 31552 & 31553 in your event viewer indicate data warehouse maintenance issues. This means the behind-the-scenes data organization isn't working. aarpmahjongg

If that doesn't work, let's dig deeper:

    • Check SCOM management server logs for specific errors related to aggregations.
    • Look for errors in the SQL Server logs related to the SCOM data warehouse database.
    • Make sure the SCOM jobs for data warehouse maintenance are running successfully.
    • Double-check that the SCOM service account has the required permissions on the SQL Server database.

By following these steps, you should be able to get your SCOM data updating regularly again!
