I accidentally uninstalled Microsoft Multiplexor protocol on a Windows 2016 Standard server. Trying to put it back yeilds an error message, "Could not add the requested feature. The error is: The specified module could not be found". If I try to click "have disk" and point it to C:\Windows\INF, it finds it and lists it but when trying to add it, it comes back with "Could not add the requested feature. The error is: The specified module could not be found". How do I get this protocol reinstalled?!

Hello Michael King, Which method did you use to uninstall the protocol?

Please confirm if SFC and DISM.exe (system file reparation) are helpful. Also, NIC driver re-installation is worth having a try. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you need any further assistance.
