Hi all I have a user whose location is showing incorrect in teams. I am using exchange 2016 hybrid environment. We create users in onprem and migrate to online. lets say users location is ABC, I can see this as correct in Microsoft 365 admin center. Home-->Active Users-->Licenses and apps: Selection Location: abc , In onprem Active Directory office location attribute shows as ABC. in Azure AD also i see Office location correctly.When i check using the below syntaxes i see the location correctly

Get-MailboxRegionalConfiguration -identity ******@contoso.com
Get-MailboxCalendarConfiguration -identity ******@contoso.com| select WorkingHoursTimeZone

Cleared the cache using the below syntax but still same issue.users laptop timezone also show correct Run--> %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams-->Deleted all files and folders in the %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams directory->Restart Teams.

Microsoft Teams uses the operating system’s location services to enhance user experience and provide context-aware features. When scheduling meetings, Teams can suggest nearby meeting rooms based on the user’s physical location. This feature relies on the device’s location services (if enabled) to determine proximity to available meeting spaces.

Microsoft Teams also adjusts the language and time zone settings based on the detected location. For example, if you’re traveling, Teams will adapt to the local language and time zone.

Microsoft Teams respects user privacy. Location data is only used for specific features and is not shared with other users. Users can control location permissions within their operating system settings.
