Hi We am testing the Chat playground of Azure OpenAI. We have created a gpt-4 Deployment with model version "vision-preview". When selecting that deployment in the "Chat Playground" an additional option becomes visible, an Enhancement called "Vision". To enable that, a "Computer Vision Resource" needs to be created. We did that and the resource is Active. But in the Chat Playground it is still not visible, so we cannot activate the "Vision Enhancement".
It is however selectable in the "Azure Vision Studio" Any ideas on why? We are using the free F0 plan - but there is info anywhere that this should not be possible to use.

Hello @Jonas Bergman , Thanks for using Microsoft Q&A Platform.

To use Vision enhancement, you need a Computer Vision resource. It must be in the paid (S1) tier and in the same Azure region as your GPT-4 Turbo with Vision resource.

To use the "Vision" enhancement, you will need to create a Computer Vision resource in the paid (S1) tier and in the same Azure region as your GPT-4 Turbo with Vision resource. Please refer to this documentation: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/ai-services/openai/concepts/gpt-with-vision#enhancements

    I hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Vasavi
