Hi, I created a Feature updates for Windows 10 and later profile to upgrade devices from Windows 10 to Windows 11, as shown below, User's image

I've had no issues with the upgrade showing on the devices for the 3 groups shown, but recently when I added another group to the Assignment (I know the new group isn't showing in the above screenshot, but I have definietly applied that group to the Assignment and there are devices in that group) those new device don't shown up in the Windows Updates reports, even after waiting for over 24 hours. Is there a way to see why those devices haven't picked up the update or is there a known issue that I'm not aware off?

Thanks,

    Hi Brian,

I am not too sure what the issue could be, but I can share a few suggestions on where the issue maybe emanating from, and you can countercheck:

    • Group Membership: Ensure that the devices in question are indeed part of the group you targeted with the assignment. You can check the group membership in Azure Active Directory.
    • Update Readiness: The devices need to be ready for the update. This includes having enough disk space, compatible drivers, etc.
    • Sync Status: Devices need to sync with Intune to get the latest policies and assignments. You can manually sync a device from the Company Portal app or from the Settings app on the device.
    • Compliance Policies: If a device is not compliant, it might not receive the update. Check the compliance policies applicable to the devices in question.
    • Device Health: If there are issues with the device health, this could prevent updates from being applied. You can check device health in the Microsoft Endpoint Manager admin center.

If you've checked all of these and the devices are still not picking up the updates, you might want to open a support ticket with Microsoft.
