Issue with MDT Deployment - "The specified path could not be found"

Hello,

I'm encountering an issue with my MDT (Microsoft Deployment Toolkit) deployment process. The WinPE phase works fine, allowing me to select task sequences, applications, and initiate the deployment. However, after the initial reboot, the deployment does not continue, and upon checking the logs, I found the following error message:

<![LOG[File: D:\Deploy\Control\WIN10\TS.XML Line: 0 - The specified path could not be found.

This seems to be causing the deployment to stall after the first restart. I've reviewed the logs, but I'm having trouble pinpointing the root cause of this error.

Here are some details about my setup:

  • WinPE is functioning correctly.
  • I can select task sequences and applications during the deployment wizard.
  • The Windows installation phase starts successfully.
  • The error occurs after the first reboot.

If anyone has encountered a similar issue or has insights into resolving this specific error, I would greatly appreciate your assistance. Additionally, if you need more information about my MDT configuration or logs, please let me know.

    Hi,

    1,Firstly, it's recommended to check the bdd.log and smsts.log on the client to see if there is any helpful information.

    2,This issue may be related to Antivirus software/Firewall, please remove/disable it to have a try. Similar thread for your reference:
