We live on the Olympic Peninsula. Internet is unavailable in the vast majority of the area.
I have lots of locations saved in MS Maps and it worked fine until off-line use was removed.
I need to migrate those locations to a different map program that supports offline maps.
What do you mean by "Saved in MS Maps"? How did you save them? If you are not a programmer, you probably need to ask the Application Creator of the software you are using through the App store.
If you are looking at Bing.com/maps, then choose the "My Places" option on the top to see your stored places. I don't know that there is an export utility for these however. You would have to ask on Answers.Microsoft.com
If you're referring to the Windows map application which supported offline use, there is currently no way to export the saved locations from the application.
The same saved locations are also visible on Bing maps on the web, but there's no way to export them from the Bing website either.
Hmm, holding our data hostage...and worse, you can't even pay to get it.

The stored locations are actually your data so you can share them individually but as Duncan explains, we don't have a mechanism in place for you to export them as a group.

No, the Dev Center is for Maps Developers and not connected to the Consumer maps experience. My best advice is to go to Bing.com/maps, click the "my places" and save each one in a doc or excel spreadsheet. The maps experience you are using is tied to your Microsoft Signon Account (MSA) and therefore only your data.
How do you save a location? I see no option...
Looks like you need to select each location, then select and copy/paste each detail manually into Excel. What a pain.
Sadly, as each are stored as a link within your MSA, that really is the only option. This feature predates my joining the team but I suspect they never intended, or designed it, it for large transportable collections.
