**About a month ago, I registered for the 12-month free tier through an email sent by the Azure administrator. However, it appears that you are currently subscribed to a pay-per-use plan, and you have been charged because you did not delete resources while studying without checking the plan.
I don't currently own the appropriate amount and would like to delete my account. I'm asking for help.**

Hello, @arti!I have unexpected charges after upgrading my subscription. What should I do?

Reach out to billing to dispute charges:

You are never charged for an Azure free account, however you may see charges if you upgrade to a pay-as-you-go account. To resolve billing issues and see if anything can be done about your current charges, you'll need to create an Azure support ticket (select Billing and Subscription Management):

    https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/support/create-ticket

Alternatively, in the Azure portal, you can open a billing support request by going to Help + support > New support request > Billing and then complete the wizard.

Stop additional charges and how to cancel your subscription:

You can stop additional charges by deleting your resources, and you can cancel and delete your Azure subscription:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cost-management-billing/manage/cancel-azure-subscription

Learn more about your bill and resource costs:

If you would like to better understand your costs, you can review your billing as well as look at cost analysis.

For an exact amount billed, you can view your billing usage and charges . In addition, you can set alerts , budgets , and more with cost management features.
