Hi,

With the newly released features in Purview. Is it possible to upload glossaries as a csv file to a 'Business domain' or add already existing terms from the classic glossaries?

@Pehrsson, Andreas - Thanks for the question and using MS Q&A platform.

UPDATE:Apr 19, 2024: Here is the update from internal team: Bulk upload capability as well as importing current terms in classic glossary will be coming shortly. We don't have ETA and I will be updated this thread once it's available.

This article: Import and export glossary terms describes how to work with the business glossary in Microsoft Purview. It provides steps to create a business glossary term in the Microsoft Purview Data Catalog. It also shows you how to import and export glossary terms by using .CSV files, and how to delete terms that you no longer need.

Note that you need to have the appropriate permissions to import glossaries or add glossary terms. Also, make sure that your CSV file is formatted correctly and that you map the columns to the appropriate glossary term properties.

Hope this helps. Do let us know if you any further queries.
