Queries on maintenance configuration

Please correct following statements if anything is wrong:

1.

If group of virtual machines requires one schedule for all VMs and these virtual machines are part of different resource groups, then I can create those different resource groups in one maintenance configuration, am i correct?

2.

if it is different schedule then we need to plan different maintenance configuration, am I correct?

3.

if it is same schedule then we can plan one maintenance configuration. is it accurate?

Please find the below answers :-

Ans :- Yes you are correct, you can execute the following using Dynamic Group and Filter based on Resource group

2. if it is different schedule then we need to plan different maintenance configuration, am I correct?

Ans :- This is also correct

3. if it is same schedule then we can plan one maintenance configuration. is it accurate?

Ans :- if schedule is same, you can plan patch machines from multiple RGs, subscription using Dynamic group in same Maintenance Configuration
