AI Search - semantic hybrid search returns 'Parital Content' Error.

We have implemented a RAG based chatbot with AI search using langchain. Everything was working fine. Suddenly started getting this new exception thrown from ai search when trying to do semantic hybrid search using langchain wrapper.

Exception thrown:

Operation returned an invalid status 'Partial Content'

Have you seen this ? what causes this error suddenly?

Hi @Vikneshvar Chandrahasan The error message you shared "@search.semanticPartialResponseReason" set to "Transient" means there is a temporary problem with the service. Are you still facing this error now? is there more info in your logs?

I had exactly the same issue. It was working with simple and full queries but gave the above issue when I used the semantic query. I was trying to use a nested JSON, and it used to work for 2 levels of nesting. However, increasing the nesting level and using a more complex JSON caused the issue.

To resolve this, I added a new key-value pair to my JSON document where the key is content_text and the value is the JSON string of my original JSON. This method seems to address the issue, although I am not sure what the underlying cause was.
