problem with footnots

I have a problem with word decument.. i have a footnote and suddenly now there is one number keep showing and repet with all my pages..when i choose restart each page problem show.. and when i choose continuous the problem solvd .. and i need to do my work with restart each page

Which version of Word and which operating system are you running?

Note that if you are using Word for the web, some types of formatting won't display correctly unless you display the document in Reading view.

If this is Word for Mac or Word for Windows, are you able to share a representative sample document which illustrates the issue? In that case, someone here would be able to take a closer look at the document.

What is the number that showing and repeating with all your pages?

• If you choose "Restart each page" for footnote numbering, the coding on each page starts with the first number, there must be duplicate numbers.
