How to assign another resource group owner in Azure portal

I'm a resource group owner (and subscription owner). How can I assign another owner to a resource group? According to online tutorials, this should be possible, but I don't see "owner" option in the Privileged administration roles tab of the Add role assignments window.

Before you try to add an owner can you check that you are an owner? There should be a "View my access" button. If you don't have ownership at the RG scope then you can't assign an additional owner.

Open Resource Group -> Select Access Control -> Select Role Assignments -> Make sure you are the owner

then click Add -> Role Assignment -> Select Owner -> Next
