Hi CAGM,
Hope you're doing well.
- NVIDIA GPUs have a power management mode that can dynamically adjust performance based on power source (AC or battery). This should prevent the GPU from reducing performance when running on battery power.
- Some newer laptops may have BIOS options to disable features like NVIDIA Optimus. However, be cautious, as disabling Optimus might force the OS to use the integrated GPU for everything.
- Ensure that your NVIDIA GPU drivers are up to date. Sometimes driver updates address compatibility issues or improve performance.
Best Regards,
Ian Xue
