Automatic login of wrong account

I am using Edge on my company provided iPhone. I am also using Teams. One of our customers. invited me to a group on Teams and I accepted. Since then whenever my iPhone needs to launch edge, it wants me to log in to sync. The problem is that at the top left of the screen it shows this customer's logo. Needless to say, when I use my company log-in it doesn't match anything on their end, as I don't have an account with them. therefore, I can't move past this screen or basically use edge.

I've reached out to the customer and had the person that invited me, remove me on their end. Nothing has changed.

It seems that this customer's "profile" has overwritten or over-taken edge on my phone?

I checked; this customer doesn't have a "profile" on the phone.

I have uninstalled edge, however within minutes my IT department automatically reinstalls it. This doesn't seem to change anything.

I've uninstalled Teams on the iPhone, and when it automatically gets reinstalled, it comes up with the correct email and I am able to use teams without issue.

any other thoughts?

    Hi @bob hamblin

According to your case description, you are experiencing synchronization issues when signing in to Microsoft Teams on your iPhone and using Edge.

We have some suggestions for you:

    1. Sign out of the current account: Open the Teams app, go to Settings, and then sign out of the current account that is automatically signed in.
    2. Clear cache: On iPhone, go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage > Teams > Uninstall App. This will delete the app but keep its documents and data. Then reinstall the app from the App Store.
    3. Sign in with the correct account: After reinstalling Teams, open the app and sign in with the correct account.

It is recommended that you do the same for Edge, especially you need to clear Edge's cache and then monitor whether the issue is resolved.
